CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

At Weaves of Ganges, customer satisfaction is our priority. We request you to read our Cancellation & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided the order has not been processed or dispatched.

To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately via email or WhatsApp with your order details.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products and hygiene considerations, we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the following cases:

  • Wrong product received

  • Damaged product received

  • Manufacturing defect

Customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order by providing:

  • Order number

  • Clear photographs of the product

  • Photographs of the packaging (if applicable)

Requests submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review.

Product Variations

Many of our sarees are handcrafted by skilled artisans. Minor variations in:

  • Weaving

  • Color tone

  • Texture

  • Motifs

are natural characteristics of handmade products and should not be considered defects.

Additionally, actual product colors may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, photography, and screen settings.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be processed only after the returned product has been received and inspected by our quality team.

Refunds may be approved in cases where:

  • A damaged product was delivered

  • An incorrect item was shipped

  • A verified manufacturing defect exists

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer after verification of bank account details.

Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days.

The exact time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank, payment provider, or card issuer.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Incorrect size or preference selection by the customer

  • Slight color variations due to photography or screen settings

  • Minor irregularities inherent to handwoven products

  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling
